On 26 April 2012, Sviluppo Sistema Fiera went into liquidation and became a Limited Liability Company (Società a responsabilità limitata). Its official name is therefore Sviluppo Sistema Fiera S.r.l. in liquidation.

Milan, April 8, 2009 – Gia.Fi. Costruzioni and Sviluppo Sistema Fiera signed the contract for construction of the new Milan Portello Convention Center, a self-financed 50 million Euro project that will give Milan the most impressive meeting facility in Europe.
